Regarding the inscription on the back:
The engraving is in Chinese characters and reads:
Hahoe-dong (하회동 / 河回洞)
→ A traditional village in Andong, North Gyeongsang Province, South Korea, famous as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Gilbang (길방 / 吉房)
→ Meaning something like "Auspicious Workshop" or "Craft Studio."
The Hahoe mask (하회탈 / 河回탈)
→ A famous mask used in the Korean traditional mask dance drama "Hahoe Byeolsingut Mask Dance Drama."
The expression is similar to the Yangban (aristocrat) or laughing mask designs.
It is made in a form similar to Japanese netsuke and is intended as a souvenir, good luck charm, or strap decoration.
